News Headline:  LASERCO and Symantec deal

Laser teams with Symantec to offer customers bonus

Norton AntiVirus when purchasing selected blank media

SYDNEY — October 16, 2006 — Laser Corporation Holdings, a leading manufacturer of blank optical media and supplier of personal computer accessories has partnered with Symantec Corp., the world leader in providing internet security solutions to bundle a six-month subscription to Norton Anti Virus 2007 with selected blank optical media.

David Radel, Marketing Manager for Laser Corporation Holdings, said, “With the dramatic increase in online threats and malicious code attacks such as worms, Trojans and viruses, it is imperative for home computer users to have the latest antivirus technology to defend themselves.  Norton AntiVirus is a proven and trusted solution that gives consumers advanced protection against viruses, spyware and related risks.  The new Norton Antivirus 2007 is brand new to the Australian market and protects users from malicious attacks with daily updates”.

Bundling Norton Antivirus 2007 with 50 blank CDs is a great option for consumers, because it allows users to back up files and protect their computer at the same time.  Backups are something a lot of people forget to do these days, but with the amount of digital photos, music and personal information we keep on our home PCs, backups are essential.”

The Laser and Norton Antivirus bundle will be available from leading retail outlets from the 15th of October.
