Billy Thorpe

On sunday March 4, more than seven thousand of Billy Thorpe's fans, friends and family gathered at Sydney's Entertainment Center to give him a final send off after dying of a heart attack the previous Wednesday.

Billy Thorpe was one who influenced pub performances and was able to reinvent himself time and time again to make his career in music last for over fifty years. He was well known for the song "Most People I Know" (video 1) and is a true Australian Rock 'n' Roll icon (video 2: ACDC cover of "It's a long way to the top")
